Many times water is clear, yet the whites of the fish look yellow. The UniClear filter absorbs the color from the water with high-grade carbon and at the same time gives a final polish of fines to the water. This results in the clearest water attainable. Use 2 x 3-way valves during installation and flow the water through the filter only when you need to remove the tannins (color) from the water. When the carbon stops removing the color simply replace with new carbon. Backwashable.
