The TLF Little Reactoris designed with the upflow principle to achieve the most efficient use of PhosBan or other chemical filter media, ideal to be used for pico, nano and small sized aquaria. It fits perfectly in standard frag display tanks for Frag swap meets and reefing shows.
By pushing water from the bottom upward through a dispersion plate, it forces an even distribution of water through the media, and prevents channeling.
Capacity: use for up to 75grams of Phosban (145ml), or a media height of 1.5 inches. Maximum capcity for activated carbon is 150ml.
Flow Rate: for activated carbon and Phosban GFO, 20 gal/hr (75 litres per hour). Too much flow will grind the media.
Connection: 1/2 inch (12.7mm) i.d. The inlet and outlet flexible 90 degree fittings can rotate to suit your installation.
