MICROBE-LIFT/Complete is ionically balanced with trace elements for reef systems and will create a buffered system as well. A pH of 8.0 to 8.3 and an alkalinity of 2.9 to 4.0 meq/L. (8 to 11 dKH) is necessary for salt water and reef aquariums (fish only marine aquariums need to maintain 3.5 to 5.5 meq/L. or 10 to 14 dKH) and calcium levels should be at 400 to 450 ppm. Test calcium and alkalinity levels and adjust to your individual system. Do not add more than 0.5 mL per gallon per 12 hour period. Add calcium daily and this product for optimal results. If magnesium is low use MICROBE-LIFT/Liquid Magnesium Supplement. Regular water changes are recommended. You should use the MICROBE-LIFT line of reef products to simultaneously replace any minerals that are low.

Optimum water conditions are a necessity for good reef systems. Where possible start with R/O water. If tap water is used be sure to condition the water with MICROBE-LIFT/XTreme or MICROBE-LIFT/ Dechlorinator. Routine water changes are a necessity and Alkalinity are an important part of the reef system. Always use MICROBE-LIFT/R/O Water Conditioner for all water changes and start ups.

Directions

Always shake well before using. Add 2 teaspoons (10 mL) per 10 gallons (38 L) each day in the highest flow area in the tank until target alkalinity is reached. Never mix with calcium or magnesium solution, add separately to tank. Some cloudiness may appear, this will go away rapidly.
