We found this variety to be one of the earliest bloomers at the nursery. Be sure to enlarge the photo of all the plants and count the huge seed pods! This is the perfect cultivar for collecting seed pods for holiday decorations! Jinling Jasper begins to bloom in lower temperatures than many other varieties so this one might be a good choice for areas with cooler spring weather.
