The first day color, pink, recedes to the petal tips, so that the petals of the fully open flower are rich creamy white with dark pink striping. The stacked form of the open flower is the perfect stage for the showy receptacle which is sometimes petaloid. A really great lotus in every way! This one reminds us of ‘Charming Lips’ but opens more fully and holds up better in hot weather.
