Facts
Basslets don’t bother corals, which makes them great additions to a reef aquarium. While they are generally peaceful creatures, once they are established in an aquarium, they can become territorial to other Basslets that are introduced unless the tank is very large. They are a deep water fish and prefer a more dimly lit aquarium. Basslets are also hermaphroditic and can change their sex from female to male as needed.
