Overview

Like most cichlids, BlackNasty Cichlids, are sexually dimorphic. They will thrive best with plenty of swimming space, a gravel substrate and rocks to hide in. They are not recommended for many community aquariums as they can be extremely aggressive, but can be usually behoused with other species with similar temperaments and same size or larger.

Cichlidsare not picky eaters. They will accept most pellet, flake, frozen and live foods and should be fed a varied diet including both meaty and herbivorous preparations given their omnivorous nature.
