It grows to about 4 feet tall and wide, but can be pruned and controlled to a much smaller size. It is frost tender and requires full sun to partial shade. Attracts Hummingbirds to your garden and is hardy to 30 F.
Plant the Firecracker plant in moist, loamy soil in full sun to part shade. This plant may be planted inside of the pond, outside in your garden, or even in a pot. Just be sure to keep the soil evenly moist.
When planting in the pond, only the roots should be submerged in the water.
