Cleans Aiptasia and Majano Anemones. These pest anemones can quickly affect a reef tank, these pests often come attached to liverock and corals and can quickly infest a tank.
Their number can reach high levels which then destroy your coral, other marine livestock to a devastating effect.
When threatened the aiptasia retract into holes in the rock and release planula (larvae) into the aquarium which rapidly develop into full anemones.
Additionally their redevelopment can be from a part of the Anemones left behind when manually removing them.
