Bluish body with black accents on its fins. Males have stripes on its lower half of body and a single yellow stripe near its tail.

Omnivore; spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other quality meaty foods.

Facts
The Watanabei Angelfish are considered reef safe with caution–take caution that on occasion they may nip at coral or clams. They are semi-aggressive in temperament, but males are hostile towards each other and will fight to the death–only one male per tank is recommenced. They are deep water fish and should be acclimated in a dimly lit tank.
